Amelia Grace Palmer, Identified Individual
In the heart of Treasure Valley, Amelia "Mimi" Palmer, affectionately known as Mimi, left an indelible mark on the lives of many. Mimi, the cherished only daughter in a family of brothers, was crowned Mini Queen at both the Treasure Valley Rodeo in 2024 and the Western Riding Club in 2023.
Mimi's cheerful, friendly spirit made her a friend to all, young and old. Her kindness and ability to make everyone feel loved will be remembered fondly. She had a special bond with her family, particularly her brothers, cousins, and parents. Mimi's love for horses and animals was evident in her involvement with the Western Riding Club and the Boots and Bullseyes 4-H Club.
Mimi was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith shone through in her actions. She was friendly to everyone at school, and her locker bore a heartfelt note that read, "You made me feel like me."
Tragically, Mimi passed away on September 1, 2025, at the tender age of thirteen. Her loss was deeply felt by her parents, Earl and Cindy Palmer, her brothers Andrew, Aiden, Adam, and younger brother Aeron, and by her grandparents Earl Sr. and Diana Palmer, and Bryce and Beth Jorgensen. Mimi is also missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Mimi will be remembered for her happy glow, kindness, and the unique way she made everyone feel accepted and loved. She had a knack for entertaining and caring for her younger cousins at family gatherings. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service for Mimi will be held on Wednesday, September 17, at 1:00 p.m. in Sheridan, Wyoming. Online condolences can be made at www.sheridanfuneral.com.
Rest in peace, Mimi. Your light will continue to guide us.
