Arson in Multi-Residential Building in Bötzingen – Perpetrator apprehended by authorities
In an unprecedented event, a fire was reported at a community shelter for refugees in Rathausstraße, Bötzingen, Freiburg, on June 9, 2025, at approximately 19:50. The volunteer fire departments from Bötzingen and Eichstetten were able to extinguish the fire, which is suspected to be arson.
