Astana to Host Home Industry Expo
In the heart of the capital, a two-day agricultural fair is set to take place on May 24 and 25, according to Vechernyaya Astana. This event promises to showcase an array of agricultural products from local and regional producers across Kazakhstan.
The fair will offer a wide variety of produce, including fruits, vegetables, meat, bakery and dairy items, pastries, natural juices, jams, and numerous other items at affordable prices for both residents and visitors. The bustling marketplace will be housed at the "Koktal" shopping and entertainment center, located at 12a Nurgyzy Tlendiyev Avenue.
While there are currently no other agricultural fairs scheduled in Astana during the same period, it's worth noting that another agricultural fair is already in operation at 23 Beibarys Sulton Street (near the Rio de Janeiro residential complex), which operates daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
To facilitate access to the event, several bus routes—including numbers 2, 32, 49, 50, and 73—pass near the fair location.
It's important to mention that the closest major agri-focused event, InterFood Astana, is slated for May 28-30 and features food, beverages, and processing technologies rather than agricultural machinery or farming. KazAgro/KazFarm, another prominent agricultural exhibition focusing on agricultural machinery, livestock, grain handling, and ag-tech, is scheduled for October 2025, but its exact location in Astana is yet to be announced.
For a comprehensive guide to events happening in late May, visitors can look forward to various cultural and recreational activities, such as concerts and sporting events, with no agricultural fairs specifically mentioned for May 24-25.
