Catwalk features reveal colors trending for autumn/winter 2027-28, as per WGSN
Pantone, a renowned color authority organization, has once again set the stage for fashion trends with its colour selections for London Fashion Week SS26 and New York Fashion Week SS26. The chosen colours aim to "elevate the everyday" and have already been reflected on global runways.
For London Fashion Week SS26, Deep Green and Maize have taken centre stage. Deep Green, a rich and earthy hue, was also spotted on the catwalk during New York Fashion Week SS26. Maize, a warm and vibrant shade, has also been reflected on the New York runways.
The trend colours for autumn/winter 2027/28, as selected by both WGSN and Coloro, are Russet, Peaceful Lilac, Maize optimism, and Deep Green. Russet, a warm and rich brown, has already been seen on global runways as part of the autumn/winter 2027/28 trend colours. Peaceful Lilac, a soft and calming shade of purple, has also been reflected on global runways as part of the autumn/winter 2027/28 trend colours.
Sustainable fashion initiatives have played a significant role in the incorporation of these trend colours. The use of eco-friendly dyes, organic fabrics, and circular fashion programs has emphasized the use of natural and biodegradable pigments, making these colours more appealing to fashion enthusiasts who prioritize sustainability.
WGSN, a leading fashion trend forecasting organization, has included these four trend colours in its AW27/28 palette. WGSN's AW27/28 palette also includes four trend colours: Russet, Peaceful Lilac, Maize optimism, and Deep Green.
As the fashion industry continues to evolve, these trend colours are set to make a strong impact, reflecting a shift towards more sustainable and everyday-elevating styles. Stay tuned for more updates on the latest fashion trends!
