Crack open those sunshine rays and groove with us, as we share the buzz from our recent Children's Day extravaganza in the heart of Krakow! Partnering with the fab folks from Tygodnik Powszechny and Stowarzyszenie Mudita, we transformed an ordinary Monday into an epic, unforgettable adventure for our neighborhood kiddos, filled with laughter, excitement, and cherished memories galore.
This outdoor shindig was brimming with activities, designed to ensure our pint-sized pals stayed entertained from dawn 'til dusk! Bouncing, colorful pinatas brimming with delectable treats and temporary tattoos to make them feel like superstars, dazzling soap bubbles floating through the Krakow air like kaleidoscopic dreams...the fun was infectious! To quench their thirst for adventure, we even dished out biodegradable water bottles to keep everyone cool and hydrated throughout the ягoda-filled day.
One of the highlights of the festivities was the dynamic workshops that took place right inside the Tygodnik Powszechny headquarters! Here, our youngsters had ample opportunities to unleash their creativity and learn new skills in a warm, welcoming environment where their curiosity knew no bounds. To ensure our entire community was part of the fun, we also extended a hearty invitation to the children residing close to our humble office, making this a neighbourhood celebration for all to remember!
The day began with an inspiring gathering, where journalist and writer Michał Kuzźminowski led captivating discussions on crime fiction for the adults. But the main event? You guessed it – the "Let's Design a Newspaper!" workshop, where our energetic young journalists-in-training got their hands dirty in the world of journalism and made their own newspapers, complete with a tour of the Tygodnik Powszechny newsroom and interactive activities!
