Commenced ribbon-cutting ceremony, bid farewell.
Biysk, a city in southwestern Siberia, is set to introduce an unprecedented extreme park for its residents and visitors. The skate park, located opposite Maximova Boulevard, will span 600 square meters and boast a variety of structures for extreme sports activities.
The plans for next year include setting up a parking zone in front of the skate park, ensuring convenience for those who wish to visit. The skate park's territory is currently 80% complete, with landscaping work ongoing.
The skate park will feature unique lighting, designed to illuminate the entire area, including ramps and tracks, ensuring safety and visibility during night-time use. The concrete on the ramps will have a medium roughness, providing a better grip for bicycles and skateboards.
The total cost of the skate park project is approximately 28 million rubles. Construction control and material testing are conducted at all stages of the skate park's construction to ensure quality and safety.
The skate park project was made possible by the activity of local youth and participation in the federal state program. A grand opening celebration will be organized once all work is completed, inviting the residents of Biysk to enjoy this new addition to their city.
It's worth noting that the skate park is primarily designed for teenagers and adults, not small children. Access for mothers with strollers will only be allowed after the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Remaining tasks include delivering soil, leveling the ground for flower beds, concreting and installing 13 benches and as many trash cans, and connecting 28 modern lights to the city grid. An unattractive industrial zone next to the skate park will be improved by planting trees.
The city will maintain the skate park's territory, and the subcontractor will retain five-year warranty obligations for the park. Special signs will be placed at the skate park's entrance detailing rules of conduct, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Appropriate protective gear, such as helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads, will be required on the premises. So, get ready, Biysk residents and visitors! The city's new extreme skate park is almost here.
The skate park's proximity to the home-and-garden sector, as flower beds and benches are being prepared, implies a potential enhancement of the local lifestyle. Meanwhile, the extended sports facilities cater not only to skateboarders but also cyclists, with the concrete ramps designed to offer a better grip.
