We're making the world greener, one tree at a time, and it's all thanks to incredible partnerships like the one we have with DHL Express SSA. This dynamic logistics company is not just about transporting goods; they're also committed to making a positive impact on the environment.

Joining forces with organizations like ours, DHL Express SSA embarks on environmental projects that not only restore eco-systems but also rekindle our relationship with Mother Nature. Projects such as forest restoration and urban greening are fun and fulfilling ways to give back to the planet, with outcomes that are both invigorating and abundant.

Through their support and resources, the impact of reforestation becomes not only more effective but also sustainable. Challenges that may arise in reforestation work, such as landscape management, climate change adaptation, and natural resource management, are addressed more efficiently with DHL Express SSA's involvement.

In the spirit of "Connecting People. Improving Lives," DHL Express SSA focuses on leveraging four significant trends in the industry: globalization, digitalization, e-commerce, and, most notably, sustainability. Sustainability is a top priority for the company, and they've taken decisive steps to minimize their carbon footprint and transition into a more eco-friendly enterprise.

DHL Express SSA aims to "go green" with a commitment to reducing logistics-related emissions to zero by 2050. In the next decade, they plan to invest €7 billion in climate-neutral solutions to support this ambitious goal. Together with DHL Express SSA, we've been making a difference since 2010. In 2022, we partnered with DHL Express SSA and the Mulanje Mission Hospital to revitalize forests in Mulanje, Malawi. So far, DHL Express SSA has donated and planted 12,000 trees, empowering and uplifting the community residing within the forest.

The project aims to restore the land through natural regeneration management and active planting of indigenous tree seedlings, as well as promoting sustainable forest management through community tree nurseries, training programs on community-based natural resource management, improved cookstove technology, and forest beekeeping.
