For the first time, a three-member jury will select the three most attractive and original floats and foot groups. Winners will receive €500 each, runners-up €350 each, and third-place winners €200 each. Notable newcomers to this year's parade include Adams Armaturen, the Palliative Care Group Herne, and the "Kai Werner" foot group. In total, 103 starting numbers will participate, consisting of 83 floats, 22 foot groups, and 8 music groups.

The Cranger Kirmes is a heartfelt thank you to the around 1,000 dedicated volunteers from Herne and Wanne-Eickel who make the event possible. The honorary tribune for the parade will be located at Buschmannshof in Wanne-Mitte, in front of the Sparkassen-Filiale entrance.
