May 9, Victory Day

Time to wear your red and appreciate the rolling appreciation of our veterans! The key events for this day are:

  • Try not to miss the military parade and theatre show "We Shall Live" near Minsk Hero City obelisk, starting at 8:30 PM. No cover charge for this bad boy.
  • The Palace of Sports square will be booming with the "One Great Victory for All" concert, running from 12 PM to 11 PM. Again, free for all!
  • If you fancy fireworks, we've got ya covered. The explosives will shoot off at midnight from six spots: Hotel Belarus, Pavlov Park, National Library, Chizhovka Arena, Drozdy Embankment, and Ugo Chavez Park. Best part is, it's free spectating.
  • Head to Loshitsa Park for the "80 Years of Peace" festival, happening from 10 AM to 7 PM, with entry fees from 6 to 12 Belarusian rubles.
  • If you're in for a more exclusive outing, check out the Central Botanical Garden, featuring a 80th-anniversary Victory celebration. Enjoy themed photo zones, performances, war-song sing-alongs, a display of weapons, food courts, and more. Tickets are between 6 and 12 Belarusian rubles.

  • "Sandbox" is your place to kickstart the season, enjoy food trucks, daily entertainment, movies, and an electric atmosphere in Minsk. No admission fee required.
  • Admire the B-Walls exhibition by Belarusian street artists at Factory space from May 10-11. It's a perfect cultural experience, showing photos, sketches, and stencils from local artists. Hours: noon to 10 PM, no entry fee.
