Firefighters are making an extraordinary move by procuring cutting-edge tools
Gaëgelow Volunteer Fire Department Launches Amazon Wishlist
The Gaëgelow Volunteer Fire Department has taken a unique approach to seeking support from the community, creating an Amazon wishlist to help prepare for deployments and provide quick energy during them.
The wishlist, initiated by Olaf Hain and Maik Jachimczak, includes a variety of items such as a cooler box for deployment catering, large packs of Duplo, Bifi, and children's bars, glasses for red and white wine for a cozy end to member or general meetings, and a skill game, among others.
The cooler box is intended to address the little hunger in between deployments, while the large packs of Duplo, Bifi, and children's bars are essential for night deployments, as well as training and further education within the fire department.
The fire department encourages people who are interested in supporting them to take a look at the wishlist. The process of supporting the fire department through the wishlist is simple: click the link, select an article from the list, pay, and the respective article will be sent directly to the fire department.
However, if Amazon delivery is temporarily unavailable, the fire department recommends having orders sent to personal addresses. For coordinating the forwarding of orders, the fire department requests contact via the Facebook page's Messenger or WhatsApp.
The fire department appreciates the support it has received and encourages future support. They are open to answering questions about the support process at any time. The firefighters explain that the glasses for wine are for a cozy end to member or general meetings.
The fire department's wishlist is a great way for the community to support the volunteers who dedicate their time to keeping Gaëgelow safe. If you'd like to lend a hand, be sure to check out the wishlist and make a difference today.
