Historic Zille Ferry Now Connects Marienthal and Regenstauf

The Association for Leisure Activities in the Regensburg Area e.V. has generously contributed 4,000 euros towards the operation of the Zille in Marienthal. The Zille's presence ensures the continued existence and further development of the popular crossing on the Regen. District Administrator Tanja Schweiger has shown support for the Zille operation, investing in sustainable leisure culture. Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer also emphasizes the importance of the Zille for relaxation in the region. The Zille has been an impressive experience for locals and tourists alike for the past 125 years.
