Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Berlin, Embraces the Muddy Wacken Festival

Leif Lindner, the CEO of the Innovation for all trade fair (IFA), which takes place in Berlin from September 5th to 9th, is currently enjoying a break from work at the Wacken music festival. Lindner, who is 53, is attending the festival with his younger brother and a friend, braving the muddy conditions with good humor.

Despite the challenging conditions, Lindner finds solace in the loud music, which he describes as a form of total relaxation and head-clearing. This is not his first music festival; he has been attending the Wacken festival annually since 2013 and has also attended the Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio in May.

When it comes to his attire, Lindner trades his usual shirt and suit for a leather jacket and sunglasses at Wacken. However, he prefers to stay in a pension during his visits, which is about 8 kilometers away from the festival.

Lindner's love for music festivals is not limited to one event. He finds that attending these festivals provides him with the strength to work hard for ten days afterward. In fact, he credits his attendance at Wacken for his ability to work effectively.

Minister of Economics Katherina Reiche (52, CDU) will be seated next to Lindner at the IFA gala this year. Last year, former Chancellor Olaf Scholz (67, SPD) held the same position. Lindner is looking forward to switching his leather jacket for a suit for the IFA gala in September.

Lindner's favorite bands at Wacken are Metallica and Guns N' Roses. However, he does not enjoy camping during his visits to the festival. Despite this, he finds the overall experience to be worth the challenge.

In conclusion, Leif Lindner, the CEO of IFA Berlin, is a music festival enthusiast who finds solace in the loud music and challenging conditions of festivals like Wacken. His attendance at these festivals provides him with the strength to work effectively and he is looking forward to attending the IFA gala in September.

Leif Lindner's lifestyle involves attending music festivals, such as the Wacken Festival and the Sonic Temple Festival, which he finds to be a source of relaxation and motivation for his work. In contrast, during the IFA gala, he prefers to switch his festival attire for a suit, emulating a different home-and-garden ambiance while maintaining his entertainment-centric interests.
