Ballarat International Foto Biennale 2021: A Vibrant Celebration of Contemporary Photography

Get ready for an unforgettable journey into the world of photography as the Ballarat International Foto Biennale returns in 2021. This year's theme, Lifeforce, promises to captivate both seasoned photographers and curious newcomers alike.

The festival will transform Ballarat and its surrounding regions into a vibrant hub for contemporary photography and visual storytelling, featuring over 360 artists across more than 100 venues. Among the many events, RACV Goldfields Resort will host two headline exhibits: Campbell Addy's work on Nii Journal and an exclusive exhibition by Hiromi Tango.

RACV is a long-standing supporter of the arts and will present a series of inspiring exhibitions and events throughout the festival. One such event is the Art of Lunch on Sunday 24 August, featuring key artists from the festival and a three-course meal. Ticketing information for this event can be found on the RACV website.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, photography masterclasses, guided tours, and hands-on workshops like cyanotype and Polaroid transfers are also on offer.
