Join the October 3rd Border Hike: Rain or Shine, Fun Guaranteed

A joint border hike with locals is set for Friday, October 3rd, organized by several local authorities. The event will take place rain or shine, with participants advised to dress accordingly.

The hike will begin at 8:45 AM at the path to the Spatzenbild between Hohe-Wart-Haus and Sendemast. Buses will depart from 7:30 AM towards Hohe Wart for those needing transportation. The route will pass by six boundary markers, ending with a final rest at the Sportheim Volkersbrunn. A free snack will be provided around 10:45 AM.

Participants are urged to wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. Buses will be available for the return trip.

The border hike is a unique opportunity for citizens to explore their local area together. Despite the weather, the event will proceed as planned, with all necessary arrangements in place for an enjoyable and safe experience.
