King Restaurant Welcomes Autumn with New Seasonal Dishes

King, a SoHo restaurant near me, has swiftly become a local favourite since its quiet opening last fall. The eatery, co-founded by Clare de Boer, Annie Shi, and Jess Shadbolt, offers a blend of French and Italian cuisine, with a daily-changing menu. King's chefs, including de Boer and Shi, eagerly await autumn's produce. They plan to incorporate ingredients like squash, wild mushrooms, truffles, chestnuts, Cavolo nero, and new season Italian olive oil into their dishes. Recent dinners have featured hand-cut fresh ricotta ravioli with Pesto alla Genovese and baked peach and polenta cake. The trio also manages King's front-of-house and collaborates on other ventures, such as the restaurant Jupiter, and has co-created The King Cookbook. As the seasons change, King plans to introduce Tuscan soups, braises, and heartier desserts to their menu near me. The dinner menu evolves daily, reflecting the season, weather, available produce, and the chefs' personal cravings. King's Sunday family-style dinners, inspired by traditional British lunches, provide a rhythmic way to close the week. The restaurant near me looks forward to welcoming guests with its changing menu and warm atmosphere, as autumn produce takes centre stage.
