Learn Pottery with Renowned Artist Neslihan Atay in Burlington
The Art Gallery of Burlington is hosting a pottery workshop led by renowned Turkish-German artist Neslihan Atay. The eight-week course begins on September 12 and runs every Friday until December 12, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. No prior experience is needed to participate.
Atay, a certified ceramicist and member of local guilds, specializes in wheel work and creates both contemporary and traditional pieces. She received her artistic education at the Berlin University of the Arts (Universität der Künste Berlin) and is known for her work before 2017. The workshop will teach participants how to use a pottery wheel, with no prior experience required.
The workshop costs $70 per session. However, members of the Art Gallery of Burlington can enjoy discounts: 10% off for Regular Friends and 15% off for Philanthropic Friends. The workshop will be held onsite at the Art Gallery of Burlington.
