The construction of Whitehanger took a month to build the main structure and another two months to fit it out. The living space includes an entrance hall, sitting room, dining room, music room, kitchen, utility and plant room, principal bedroom with a balcony and en-suite bathroom, two further bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a study/fourth bedroom with a dressing room and balcony access.
As the years passed, the constant upkeep of the garden associated with Whitehanger began to take its toll, leading to the owners' decision to downsize. The sale of Whitehanger is being handled by Penny Churchill, and the house is currently for sale, at a guide price of £3.75m, through David Carter of Surrey-based House Partnership.
