Martha Stewart Expands Retail Presence in the Middle East and Beyond

Martha Stewart, the renowned lifestyle brand, is expanding its retail presence in the Middle East, with plans to open stores in India, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia in 2026. This expansion is a result of a partnership between Martha Stewart's owner, Marquee Brands, and Apparel Group, a Dubai-based retail conglomerate.

The expansion in the Middle East began with the opening of three Martha Stewart stores in Dubai. The first store opened at City Centre Mirdif in May 2025, followed by a store at Dubai Hills Mall and another scheduled for summer 2025 at Mall of the Emirates. Another store is planned for summer 2023 in Dubai.

The Dubai stores offer an immersive shopping experience, featuring products in categories such as kitchenware, bedding, bath, home fragrance, and entertaining. These flagship stores are designed to reflect Martha Stewart's style and attention to detail.

Marquee Brands, the company behind these retail expansions, also manages a portfolio of recognized retailers, including BCBGMaxAzria, A Pea in the Pod, Ben Sherman, and Laura Ashley, which it acquired at the start of this year.

In addition to the Martha Stewart stores, Marquee Brands and Apparel Group have partnered to open the first Sur La Table store in Dubai. The joint venture bought Sur La Table out of bankruptcy in 2020 for around $89 million.

The expansion of Martha Stewart stores focuses on international markets, starting with the Middle East. This move is part of a broader effort by Marquee Brands to expand the brand's retail presence.

As the brand continues to grow, it plans to open more stores in India, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, in addition to the stores already opened in Dubai. These future locations will offer the same immersive shopping experience that has been successful in Dubai.
