Cutting-Edge Renovation at the Hamm McDonald's
McDonald's restaurant in Hamm-Berge undergoes reconstruction
Since June 2, the McDonald's eatery on Werler Straße in Hamm has seen a shutdown for an exhilarating renovation project. The franchisee, Philip Scheider, who oversees multiple McDonald's branches across North Rhine-Westphalia, intends to reopen the doors on June 25, 2025.
Preparations for an additional McDrive lane started in May. Once complete, patrons will be able to place orders at two ordering stations before the lanes cleverly merge in a sort of 'zipper' fashion.
Boosting Capacities and a Modern Makeover in Hamm
Once the renovation is finalized, the restaurant will boast four production lines instead of two, extending capacity for managing peak periods. According to Philip Scheider, the renovation was a crucial step, as the branch had exceeded its capacity limit. The total expenses for this overhaul are estimated to be approximately 1.3 million euros, with an additional 400,000 euros allocated for re-designing the parking area.
Upon its reopening, the branch will embody McDonald's latest concept and will rank among the most technologically advanced branches in Germany.
