Lee Broom's "Cascade" Collection Unveiled at Euroluce during Salone del Mobile 2025

Lee Broom's latest collaboration with Lladró, the "Cascade" collection, was unveiled at Euroluce during Salone del Mobile 2025, which took place in Milan from April 8 to April 13, 2025. The collection was presented at this leading international lighting fair, highlighting the innovative use of porcelain to create translucent, glowing light pieces.

The "Cascade" collection is a range of lighting designed by Lee Broom and produced by Lladró. The collection is inspired by the ancient human-made light source, paper lanterns, and consists of graphic, ribbed cylinders and demi-spheres suspended vertically. These can be combined in various configurations, offering a versatile and captivating display.

The textured porcelain assemblages serve as a quiet, sculptural presence when not in use and take on an almost celestial quality when lit. Lee Broom aims for the light in the "Cascade" collection to evoke an emotional response and bring joy, similar to lanterns at commemorative events, especially when hung in clusters.

A table lamp is also part of the collection, adding a practical yet stylish element to the range. The "Cascade" collection was featured in the May 2025 issue of a popular design website, which offers a daily digest of inspiration, escapism, and design stories. The issue was available on the website app on Apple iOS from the beginning of May, and subscribers of Apple News + could access it.

For those who prefer a print version, the May 2025 issue was available in print on newsstands from 3 April. Additionally, a full guide for Milan Design Week 2025 was available on the website, providing valuable information for design enthusiasts planning their visit.

The "Cascade" collection will undoubtedly be a highlight of the design world in 2025, showcasing the beauty and versatility of porcelain in lighting design. To stay updated on the latest design stories, subscribe to the website newsletter, which delivers design stories directly to your inbox.
