Ministers' Council applauds exceptional service anniversary
In a heartfelt ceremony, District Administrator Achim Hallerbach recognised and celebrated the dedication of ten long-serving colleagues in the Neuwied district administration. Among those honoured were Christa Nilges and Ralf Volkert, who have served for an impressive 40 years.
The esteemed colleagues received warm wishes for their continued service from District Administrator Hallerbach, Personnel Director Florian Nußbaum, Christina Pfeiffer from the works council, and other distinguished guests.
Christa Nilges, a clerk who has worked in various positions within the Neuwied district administration for decades, was praised for her unwavering commitment and contribution to the district. Ralf Volkert, a civil servant in the audit committee, was also lauded for his diligent work and dedication over the years.
The challenges faced by the district administration are increasing, but these long-serving colleagues have managed to meet the ever-growing expectations and demands with experience, patience, and composure. Dr. Reinhard Lahr, who works in monument protection and at the Roentgen Museum, was among the honourees. Silke Läufer-Hermann, who works in press and public relations, and Helena Hasbach, a clerk for the environment, nature, and energy, were also recognised for their service.
Lena Seifert, a school secretary at the Realschule plus Puderbach, and Angela Thomas, who works in school book lending, were also honoured for their dedication. Rainer Müller, a caretaker at the Werner-Heisenberg school, and Nadja Meffert, who works in youth welfare, were also part of the distinguished group.

Florian Nußbaum, Personnel Director, explained that Christa Nilges and Ralf Volkert are among the ten colleagues being honoured. Elke Dudda, a school secretary at the Kinzingschule, was also recognised for her service.
