Nature Park Saar-Hunsrück unveils its event schedule from May 30 to June 29, 2025
The Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park has unveiled an enticing event calendar for the months of May and June 2025, inviting nature enthusiasts, families, and individuals to immerse themselves in a variety of environmental education and active leisure activities.
Highlights of the calendar include a Jubilee weekend celebrating the 10th anniversary of the National Park Hunsrück-Hochwald from June 7 to 9. Another noteworthy event is the wine hike on the "Lecker Pfadchen" in Dhronecken on June 1, which offers optional wine tasting for 25 Euro or an additional culinary offer for 48 Euro.
For those interested in biodiversity, an excursion to the green land in Börfink is scheduled for June 15, with a cost of 15 Euro per person. For those who wish to learn the art of scythe use, a course with practice exercises in Dhronecken is available on May 31, priced at 85 Euro per person.
The workshop and further training series from May 31 to June 27, 2025, is organised by the DRK-Bildungswerk Eifel-Mosel-Hunsrück e.V. Two herb workshops on the lime tree are offered, one on June 20 in Otzenhausen and another on June 27 in Gisingen, each costing 15 Euro.
In addition, a Discovery Tour around Hermeskeil is scheduled for June 1, costing 7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults. A bat safari in Waldrach is planned for June 21, suitable for families with children from six years, costing 7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults.
A herb walk in Saarburg is scheduled for June 28, ideal for families, with a herb snack at the end (7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults). Lastly, a culinary herb hike in Osburg with "Wild Kitchen" tasting is scheduled for June 29, costing 15 Euro.
