Rohrbach Kahlenberg Friends Summer Festival Celebrates Successful Two-Day Event
The Rohrbach Kahlenberg Friends' annual summer festival took place on the 22nd and 23rd of July, 2023, and was a resounding success, bringing together residents and visitors to enjoy local music, food, and cultural activities.
On the first day, Markus Uhl, a member of the German Bundestag, opened the festival as its patron in the evening. Esra Limbacher, another member of the German Bundestag, also paid a visit to the event. Both Uhl and Limbacher are supporters of the Rohrbach Kahlenberg Friends, contributing to the club through their donations.
The weather during the festival was sunny, creating a perfect backdrop for the festivities. On Sunday morning, the Laabtal musicians entertained guests with brass music and singing during the extended breakfast. The Bluesbuwe band performed at the festival for the first time on the Kahlenberg Friends' club grounds, adding to the lively atmosphere.
In the afternoon, homemade cakes and fresh coffee were available, and younger visitors enjoyed the soccer pitch and trampoline. The accompanying photo is courtesy of Manfred Agatter.
The success of the event was due in part to the efforts of numerous helpers. Food and drinks were provided at the festival, contributing to the lively atmosphere.
The Rohrbach Kahlenberg Friends are a community group dedicated to fostering community spirit, cultural preservation, and organising events.
