Refusing to Comply
On Saturday, March 12, the Romaneum in Neuss will play host to the "Make it New!" event, a day dedicated to sustainability and creative reuse. This community-focused event invites everyone to participate in a series of practical activities designed to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The event kicks off with a clothing swap, where participants can exchange clothes, giving garments a second life and embracing sustainable fashion. For those looking to get crafty, an upcycling workshop will offer guidance on transforming old or unused items into new, creative products, helping to reduce waste.
A repair café will also be available, providing a space for people to bring broken items and receive help from experts, encouraging repair over disposal. The day's activities will conclude with the "Delicious through the Day" program, which promises food and refreshments that align with the event's theme of sustainability and enjoyment.
In addition to these activities, a free online talk on waste reduction will be part of the event, and further details about the event will be sent via email. For those who have subscribed to these updates, verification of your email is required to complete the subscription process.
