Regular airport visits for Laura Maria Rypa, Lombardi's fiancée, due to ongoing discussions.
Laura Maria Rypa's Regular Airport Discussions About Breast Milk
Laura Maria Rypa, fiancée of former DSDS winner and singer Pietro Lombardi, frequently faces discussions at airport security over her carry-on contents, specifically breast milk. Despite the potential complications, Rypa has continued to travel with breast milk, as it is necessary for her two sons with Lombardi.
In a recent Instagram post, Rypa shared a cooler bag filled with bags of pumped breast milk and joked about the controversies it would likely cause at the airport. She has experienced these discussions on nearly every trip, as stated in her social media post.
According to EU regulations, breast milk is considered a special category of liquids and can be carried in hand luggage, even if it exceeds the 100ml limit that applies to other liquids. As long as the liquid can be safely controlled, it is permitted on flights within the European Union. The Federal Police and ADAC both confirm this special regulation for breast milk.
However, security personnel hold the final decision on whether a liquid can be carried. If there is any doubt, they will screen the liquid individually, as stated by the Federal Police. Despite this special regulation, Rypa may continue to encounter discussions with security personnel until modern scanners, potentially making strict liquid limits obsolete, become more common.
Meanwhile, Lombardi and Rypa have been planning their wedding for some time. If everything goes according to Lombardi's plans, their fourth child may not be far off. The couple's recent trips have included separate journeys, with Lombardi traveling to Turkey with his eldest son from his previous marriage, Sarah Engels, while Rypa stayed in Mallorca to focus on work and avoid party areas with their children.
