Mark your calendars, folks! Direct descendants of the legendary ethnographer, historian, and folklorist, Gavriil Ksenofontov, are making their first-ever visit to Yakutia. Mikhail and Anastasia Ksenofontov, direct descendants through Ksenofontov's only son, are joining a unique joint project between the National Library of Yakutia and the Institute of Humanitarian Research. The aim? To publish the scholar's handwritten works and bring his remarkable achievements to the forefront.
This historic event will take place across key locations, including the capital of Yakutia and the scholar's homeland in the Hangalassky district (Pokrovsk, Tit-Ary, Chkalov). Expect engaging round tables, public meetings, documentary film shoots, and workshops with local documentarians.

A team led by Doctor of Historical Sciences Ekaterina Romanova is currently working on a 10-volume collection of his works and a documentary film about his life and activities.
