Renovation Underway on Lenin Street
In the heart of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, one of the city's main transportation arteries, Lenin Street, is undergoing a significant transformation. Currently, work is underway on two key sections of Lenin Street. The first section stretches from the House of the Fleet Officers (DOF) to the intersection of Soviet and Lenin Streets, and the second section continues towards the Drama Theater.
While the most active phase of road surface replacement is yet to come, with builders expected to start removing unsuitable soil and laying new earthwork approximately in mid-June, traffic will be maintained on Soviet Street in two lanes during the repair work on Lenin Street.
Anatoly Bankov, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky City District, has reported on the ongoing repair work. He emphasized that the aim of the project is to significantly improve infrastructure and increase the comfort of the urban environment.
