In the vibrant town of Wuppertal, a cultural transformation is underway as three new murals have been added to the Heckinghausen neighbourhood. These murals, part of the "Pina Bausch Gallery" series, have been created by renowned artists from Poland, Hong Kong, and a Dutch duo.

The journey began with "King of Nothing," a captivating piece by the Polish artist "Bezt" at Bockmühle 9. The second mural, located at Lenneper Straße 28, is the work of Studio Giftig, a Dutch duo consisting of Niels van Swaemen and Kaspar van Leek. The third mural, titled "The Window Washer," can be found at Ackerstraße 18, and was created by the talented artist Caratoes from Hong Kong.

The Bürger Verein Heckinghausen, led by Gerhard Dabringhausen, is hosting a welcome event to celebrate these new additions. The event, scheduled for August 13, 2025, at 5 PM, will take place in the parking lot in front of the mural at Lenneper Straße 28. During the event, Valentina Manojlov, the director of the "Urban Art Space Wuppertal" street art project, will explain the meaning and significance of the murals.

The best part? This event is free of charge for all residents, making it an exciting opportunity for everyone in the community to come together and appreciate the new artworks. So, mark your calendars and join us for an evening of art, community, and celebration!
