Stable structures boasted by Sansiri: a new claim made for their real estate projects

Rewritten Article:

Sansiri, a renowned real estate powerhouse in Thailand, brags about its earthquake-resilient buildings in Bangkok, boasting that they withstood the tremors of the recent earthquake. Speaking at a forum, Sansiri's Chief Strategy Officer, Poomipak Julmanichoti, gleefully declared that the company's properties are built on ten zones of unstable soil basin, with high-rise residential condos at the heart of it.

According to Poomipak, all Sansiri properties have been scrutinized by a team of experts, ensuring the structures remain intact despite the chaos. He reported that minimal damages, primarily to the exterior, were observed in areas using lightweight bricks.

Within just three days post-quake, Sansiri's team assessed five critical systems across over 50,000 households, namely electrical, water pipelines, elevator systems, structural stability, and fire safety.

This quick response, as Poomipak suggested, emanates from Sansiri's dedication to ensuring resident safety and transparency during crises. "We assure residents that insurance claims will be handled within two weeks," Poomipak asserted.

Cracks and broken walls were the most prevalent damages found in both low-rise and high-rise structures. With their past experiences in handling floods, residents are now familiar with the insurance protocols and claim processes, Poomipak stated.

Sansiri's buildings are designed with flexibility to accommodate seismic vibrations, while using quake-resistant structures. More than 200 projects have been confirmed as completely safe post-earthquake assessments.

Sustainable construction materials like green cement and precast concrete are being employed both in new and existing residential developments. Numerous seismic studies highlight the exceptional durability of precast concrete elements during high-stress situations[1][2], making them perfect for earthquake-resilient construction.

To improve soil stability, Sansiri has proper landfilling procedures in place for their upcoming projects. The location of Sansiri properties usually determines their value, while the use of advanced precast production facilities helps maintain quality and control costs without burdening consumers[4].

For existing properties, Sansiri prioritizes knowledge sharing among property management teams and project managers. This approach aims to enhance earthquake preparedness and reduce potential damages in the future.

  1. Sansiri's investments in sustainable living extend beyond their earthquake-resilient real estate, as they also employ green cement and precast concrete in their home-and-garden projects, aiming for durable and environmentally-friendly structures.
  2. In line with their commitment to a better lifestyle, Sansiri is incorporating sustainable financing for their home-and-garden projects, providing potential homeowners with financing options that align with their values of earth-friendly living and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Looking ahead, Sansiri is planning to extend their earthquake-resilient strategies to their home-and-garden properties, using precast concrete elements to improve soil stability and seismic resistance, contributing to a more sustainable real-estate landscape in Thailand.
