The Fraulautern community center was bustling with activity on April 30, 2025, as the "Market into May" event took place. Approximately 500 visitors attended the event, which was part of a funding program aimed at strengthening the retail sector in Saarland.

The official opening of the event was graced by notable figures such as Mayor Marc Speicher, City Manager Kirsten Cortez de Lobao, representatives from FOG e.V. and IFBV e.V., and the Diakonie project "BIWAQ - ErFolQ2" under the leadership of Astrid Vogel. Quartiersmanagerin Jessica Fischer also patronized the event.
