Unrest persists near St. Anna Church for four consecutive days as Materborner Fair commences
Materborn Fair Returns to Kleve: Here's What You Need to Know
The much-anticipated Materborn Fair is set to return to Kleve from Saturday, July 26, to Tuesday, July 29. This year's event promises a host of attractions, including a grand fireworks display on the final day.
The fair will be located around St. Anna Church and the Ratskrug, with taxi spaces being set up on Kirchweg along the cemetery for the duration of the event.
One noticeable absence from this year's lineup is the "Polyp" ride. Unfortunately, an error in the planning of the available space by the city of Kleve meant that a replacement ride could not be found in the short time available.
Despite this, there's plenty to look forward to at the Materborn Fair. A children's carousel and a children's flyer will be available, ensuring fun for all ages. The autoscooter by the Normann family will also make an appearance.
Over 20 businesses will be present, including food stands, entertainment businesses, lottery booths, and rides. Kirmes Tuesday, the family day, is expected to be particularly popular.
To ensure clear emergency routes, orderly arrival and departure for the setup and dismantling of the fair, and due to the fireworks, no-parking zones will be established in the Kirchweg, Dorfstraße, Gemeindeweg, Erikastraße, and Berliner Straße areas from Wednesday, July 23, to Wednesday, July 30.
Vehicles parked in a traffic-obstructing manner, especially in areas with no-parking zones, may be towed away at your own expense. Corresponding checks will be carried out regarding vehicles parked in no-parking zones.
The opening of the Materborn Fair will be on Saturday at 4 pm. So, mark your calendars and get ready for a fun-filled weekend! For more specific information about the Materborn Fair, we recommend checking with the fair organizers in Kleve directly or looking for local news sources or announcements related to the event. They might provide details about changes in the lineup or reasons why the "Polyp" ride was omitted.
Exploring the home-and-garden section, visitors may find various businesses offering décor and gardening supplies to help enhance their lifestyle at home. In addition, the lifestyle sector will showcase a diverse range of products, including clothing, accessories, and food, catering to different tastes and preferences.
