Urzburg's 20th Art & Hobby Exhibition: A Blast of Local Talent & History
Urzburg is set to host an exciting event, the 20th Art and Hobby Exhibition, on May 1, 2025. The exhibition will showcase local art, crafts, and history, with a special focus on the historical development of local infrastructure, presented by the local history association.
The event, open from 10 am to 6 pm at the Oberwürzburger Saal, will feature around 30 talented artists from Oberwürzburg, St. Ingbert, and Saarland. Visitors can expect a diverse range of works and handmade products, including garden ceramics, sewing and knitting pieces, wooden sculptures, jewelry, cards, scented candles, jam, and liqueur. Children will be entertained in the afternoon with a Kamishibai storytelling theater and craft activities.
The local library will provide refreshments with a caf'e serving coffee and cake. The event also includes information stands about the history of St. Ingbert and Saarland, providing an opportunity to learn about the region's past.
