Visit to the Fruit Garden

The Tandern horticultural association recently hosted a visit to their orchard by the Gachenbach community's senior group. The event, which took place in the scenic area that includes a view of the Tandern fire station, was a success, according to the senior group members who expressed their appreciation for the insights they gained about the association's gardening activities.

Mayor Markus Hertlein was present at the visit, joining the members of the Gachenbach senior group. The event was a regular occasion for the senior group, as they have been visiting the orchard for several years.

During the visit, Stephanie Rieblinger, the chairperson of the Tandern horticultural association, provided a brief insight into their gardening activities. The association's active members, including many young "garden pirates," participate in various gardening techniques and practices that were on display at the orchard.

However, the Tandern horticultural association did not disclose specific details about their future gardening plans during the visit. The visit was a private event organized by the association and was not open to the public.

The Tandern orchard, established by the local horticultural association in 2018, is located in a picturesque area that includes a view of the Tandern fire station. The fire station, unfortunately, did not participate in the visit by the Gachenbach senior group.

The visit to the Tandern orchard provided an opportunity for the senior group to learn about the various gardening techniques and practices employed by the association. The Gachenbach senior group expressed their appreciation for the insights they gained and looked forward to future visits.
