Wiesbaden's PlayFountain Reopens, Perfect for Summer's Heat
After a successful resolution of the malfunction at the filtration plant and thorough safety checks, the popular PlayFountain water play area in Wiesbaden's city centre has reopened.
Covering an area of 100 square metres, the PlayFountain offers an array of water features, including interactive fountains, splash pads, and safe play zones for children of all ages. The reopening also includes the addition of shaded areas and improved seating for parents and guardians, as well as updated safety measures to ensure a fun and secure experience.
Mayor Christiane Hinninger expressed her relief at the reopening, stating that the PlayFountain provides a vital cooling option in the city centre. She also emphasised that the PlayFountain is an important measure for enhancing the quality of stay in Wiesbaden.
Operating hours for weekdays are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and for weekends from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The PlayFountain will operate during the summer holidays until August 17.
